Labor Prep( NORA+)
An herbal blend great to drink in any trimester to help the body prepare for labor. This daily super tea is packed with herbs intended to prevent many common pregnancy complaints, or minimize them completely. The ingredients maximize your liver health, optimize mineral absorption, and protect you against anemia.
- Nettle Leaf =Rich in Iron, Calcium, and Vitamin K, nicknamed the powerhouse plant
- Oat straw =Rich in calcium and magnesium; helps relieve anxiety, restlessness, and irritated skin, supports the immune system
- Red raspberry leaf =Useful to tones the uterus
- Alfafa =Used to decrease postpartum bleeding or chance of hemorrhaging( also increases breast milk production)
- Lavender for calming
Instructions for making an infusion (recommended):
- before bed, take 1-2 handfuls of the herbal blend in a mason jar (avoid plastic)
- fill the jar almost to the top with boiling water (leave about 1/2 inch)
- use a spoon, knife, or honey stick to push the herbs down to the bottom making sure they are all wet
- place the lid on and let it steep for 4-8 hours while you sleep
- the next day, strain your infusion, add real food sweetener of your choice or drink as is
How much should you consume?
Midwives suggest that clients can benefit from the nutritive contents drinking up to a quart of NORA tea daily.
